What does a Radiologist Do?
SA radiologist is a medical specialist who uses imaging techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. They use X-Rays, CT Scans, PET Scans, Ultra Sound etc for accurately identifying the disorder.
Usually a physician from another department orders for the use of imaging. The radiologist makes an interpretation based on the imaging result and other data, which he then forwards to the physician.
